HackerNoon weighs votes to amplify expert voices and reduce spam:
📝 HackerNoon published writers = 10 votes
✅ Authenticated users = 3 votes
👀 Unauthenticated visitors = 1 vote (pending spam review)

✨ One true vote: any vote you cast for a startup in any city will go towards that startup in an industry list, and vice versa.
