Half Six Fix is a series of London Symphony Orchestra concerts that take a fresh approach to orchestral music. Your conductor for the evening is Sir Antonio Pappano, who'll give you a quick primer on the piece before the LSO work their magic to bring it to life. An entirely different mood is conjured up the following week, with Sir Antonio returning on Wednesday 17 April to present Vaughn Williams' Symphony No 5, a bittersweet meditation on hope amid war. Then, on Wednesday 19 June, Gianandrea Noseda takes the baton to conduct Prokofiev’s Symphony No 7. Each Half Six Fix concert takes place at the Barbican, 6.30pm to 7.30pm.
