Dozens are gathering in opposition to the Enbridge Line 3 proposed crude oil pipeline. Protests over the controversial project in Douglas County, Wis., have resulted in a number of arrests.

The Lake County Sheriff's Office says 42-year-old Aaron Timmerman of New Hope was diving near the site of the Madeira shipwreck by Split Rock Lighthouse. 

The levy would collect around 4 percent of citizen's property taxes to fund the 2018 fiscal budget.
