A Superior man is recovering from injuries after a near point blank range shooting, in the Billings Park neighborhood Wednesday night. 

According to the criminal complaint, Esteban Mata, the manager at Mexico Lindo, sexually assaulted a female patron in the restaurant's employee bathroom in June of 2016.

Wisconsin women would be able to get a year's supply of birth control at a time under a new bill. Right now, even with a 12-month prescription, they can only get 30 or 90-day supplies.

The DNR says to watch out for dead or dying trees, especially when it comes to the emerald ash borer. The trees might not be strong enough to hold the stands, and branches could fall from above.
