COVID-19 Update: OPTC Abbreviated Opening May 15, 2020 Oak Park Tennis Center Members, Friends, and Family, We are excited to announce the Opening of OPTC (but in an abbreviated form), per “social-distancing limits” from the Governor, Village of River Forest, and the owners of our property (the Forest Preserves of Cook County). We understand you are eager to play tennis, socialize with your tennis friends, and enjoy everything that Oak Park Tennis Center has to offer this summer and fall! Our commitment to you is to “get back to normal” as soon as it is safe to do so (based on State, Village, and Forest Preserve direction and approvals). The safety of OPTC Members and Staff is our main priority, and we thank you for your patience and diligence in complying with the following short-term rules. Until further notice, OPTC is open, but with short-term Protocols: The Forest Preserve of Cook County will be monitoring (be responsible!!) ONLY 10 PEOPLE may be on OPTC grounds at any given time Singles-play only (60-minute time limit when other players waiting) Each player brings own can of balls (use “foot-racquet” method to return) OPTC Members Only (no Guests at this time) The Clubhouse is CLOSED to ALL (plan accordingly) No water or towels provided (please bring your own) Kindly leave Club after play (so others enjoy!) Upon your first visit, you are required to read, abide by, and sign the current OPTC Protocols (which includes the USTA COVID-19 Safe Play rules).
