Oregonians shattered turnout records in 2020

Oregonians shattered voter turnout records in the 2020 General Election, casting more than 2.4 million ballots!

That's more than any other General Election in Oregon history, and nearly 400,000 more votes than the previous record set in 2016.

Oregonians broke turnout records despite facing major challenges due to COVID-19, thanks in large part to the strength of Oregon's vote-by-mail system, the implementation of Democratic ideas like automatic voter registration and pre-paid postage for ballots, and the incredible work of our volunteers, donors, and supporters to mobilize voters this fall.

But we believe records are made to be broken, and we're already laying the groundwork to keep breaking these records in the years to come.

That starts with you, Voornaam, because we never stop doing the work to turn our progressive vision into a reality for Oregonians and Americans, and our work is powered by our grassroots supporters.
