Bulgaria still in stalemate after 5th parliamentary elections in 2 years 03/04/2023 According to the results of the early parliamentary elections in Bulgaria on 2 April, Boyko Borissov's GERB won 26.54% of the vote and Kiril Petkov's We Continue the Change, 24.61%. The far-right Revival party came third with 14.19%. In total, six parties exceeded the 4% threshold to be represented in Parliament. Far from clarifying the situation, these, the fifth elections in two years, will probably not lead to the formation of a robust government coalition and thus to Bulgaria's emergence from the political crisis. |
