Natasa Pirc Musar, first female president of the President of Slovenia 14/11/2022 Natasa Pirc Musar was elected President of the Republic of Slovenia on 13 November with 53.86% of the votes in the second round of the presidential election. She defeated Anze Logar of the Democratic Party (SDS) who obtained 46.14%. The 54-year-old lawyer is the first woman to become President of Slovenia. She will take office on 23 December. |

The left wing wins narrowly in the legislative elections in Denmark 04/11/2022 The Red Bloc of left-wing parties came out ahead in Denmark's early parliamentary elections on 1 November, with 48.11% of the vote and 90 of the 179 seats in parliament. The Social Democratic Party of outgoing Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen remains the largest party in the country with 27.54% of the vote. The Blue Bloc, which brings together the right-wing parties, garnered 41.06% of the vote and 72 seats. The Moderates (M) won 16 seats. Turnout stood at 84.1%. |

Map of European recovery plans In response to the economic and social consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic, the European Union has set up a €672.5 billion recovery fund, known as the Recovery and Resilience Facility for Member States in the form of grants and loans. The Foundation provides an interactive map of the plans, country by country, showing funding amounts, timetables and priorities. |

The retirement systems of the European Union Pension systems are regularly the subject of debate in the Member States and discussions at European level because of their importance for budgets and the demographic evolution of Europe. It develops research on the European Union and its policies and promotes the content of these in France , Europe and abroad.
