| Biomass governance requirements in Europe | 13/11/2023 All sectors of the European economy are developing decarbonisation strategies based on replacing fossil fuels with renewable raw materials. | Revision of the Treaties: is Europe ready for a qualitative leap forward? | 06/11/2023 Following the conference on the future of Europe, the discussion about a future revision of the European treaties is once again in the air, particularly in view of future enlargements. Reforms to abolish vetoes, change voting rules, strengthen democracy and reorganise the European area are all being considered. For Dimitris Triantafyllou, some of these reforms can undoubtedly be carried out within the framework of the current treaties, with a few innovations. Others will be more difficult, as they will require a revision of the Treaties, which would first require changes to the revision procedures. The main thing is for Europe to be effective. | Read the study |
