Currently in beta, Apple Maps on the web is compatible with Safari and Chrome browsers on Mac and iPad, as well as Chrome and Edge browsers on Windows PCs. Support for additional browsers and platforms, as well as languages other than English, will be expanded over time, Apple said in a message announcing the new availability on Wednesday. Up till now, Apple Maps had only been available as an app on Apple devices like the iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch, as well as Mac computers, so its expansion to the web gives it much wider availability. Amazon has announced an update to the Prime Video user experience that Variety described as the biggest in two years. The new interface will let you navigate Prime Video with greater ease and find content faster. “With more personalized recommendations powered by generative AI, you can discover content that is tailored to your individual preferences, allowing you to spend more time watching and less time browsing,” Amazon said. It’s also making it easier to quickly identify movies and series that are available at no additional cost to your Prime membership, among other improvements.
