Published every two months, this bilingual (English/Japanese) e-magazine focuses on the trends and developments that impact lawyers in both private practice as well as in-house.

In this edition, we delve into Japan's real estate market, which has recently gained popularity due to a weaker yen, attractive interest rates, and growing consumer demand following the reopening of the market after COVID. We also examine the growing trend of Japanese firms investing more in Europe, leading to the opening of European offices by Japanese law firms. These firms face challenges in establishing new offices and often work alongside local law firms to overcome them.
The ALB Japan e-magazine also welcomes contributions from in-house counsel in Japan. We invite you to offer analysis of critical developments and trends within the country and across the region that are impacting your work.
