Hi John, Do you enjoy gardening? We had a blissfully misty Northern California morning, the best weather for gardening. At the moment I'm growing tomatoes, beans, onions, and a variety of flowers. But the weeds! I don't know where they're all coming from -- bindweed, nutgrass, and mint (okay, the mint was 100% my fault) are my biggest issues. Getting to the other side of the weeding, I came out victorious with a harvest of bunching onions for a Saturday frittata. So good, let me know if you'd like the recipe. In short, summer is coming and gardening is on my mind! The all reminded me of a fun project that connects gardening and art by painting terracotta pots. Empowering for kids and enjoyable for adults. What if each person in your family painted a pot with their own unique design and stamp of personality? We used smaller pots filled with succulents, but you could go BIG and fill the pots with plants of your choice. I've included painting tips (don't miss my suggestion on how to keep the pots stable). >> You can find this activity by searching Google for TinkerLab Flower Pot Gardening and growing, P.S.
