Panel hears requests for use of $278 million Alabama will receive from opioid settlements

The city’s highest paid employee is City Council Administrator Cheryl Kidd, at an annual salary of $202,648.58. Some of the other top paid positions include Birmingham Mayor Randall Woodfin’s Chief of Staff Cedric Sparks, ($194,039.66) and Birmingham Fire Chief Cory Moon ($188,351.90).
