The week's biggest real estate stories.
Musicians Paul Simon and Edie Brickell have finally sold their bucolic New Canaan estate for $10.8 million. Built in 1938, the Georgian-style property was designed by architect Harold Reeve Sleeper, and the 32-acre grounds include a mansion-sized main house, a separate cottage with its own recording studio and park-like landscaping. And over on the West Coast, Fleetwood Mac’s Lindsey Buckingham has paid $14 million for a dreamy Brentwood Park estate, originally built in the 1930s but elegantly updated. |
