Mr Bean to Torvill and Dean, the Olympic Games have brought us some memorable music moments

Lady Gaga, beheadings, Céline Dion and more. The Opening Ceremony of the 2024 Paris Olympics didn't disappoint with the big moments.

Since the very first modern Olympic Games in Athens in 1896, music has always played an important role.

The Olympics have produced some of music's most memorable performances on a global stage, whether that's Pavarotti's tear-jerking final public performance at the 2006 Winter Games in Turin, or Mr Bean's hilarious antics with the London Symphony Orchestra at the 2012 Games.

We've compiled some of our favourites, from Torvill and Dean's gold-winning performance to Boléro, to the extravaganza of homegrown talent at the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
