Chemist Warehouse has today gone live with a new online store, with the move described as a "big milestone within our digital roadmap" by the company's Head of Ecommerce & Digital Customer Experience, Nick Blatt.
The new marketplace will offer an even larger portfolio of products, not limited by physical shelf space, and also creates new opportunities for suppliers who will be able to expand on their current in-store product lines.
Blatt said traditionally the Chemist Warehouse e-commerce and in-store category and product offerings had been aligned, but now "we open a whole new opportunity for our e-commerce channel to grow".
The new platform at chemistwarehouse.com.au is powered by global technology group Marketplacer.
