Sydney-based community pharmacist, Paul Sinclair, will become the International Pharmaceutical Federation’s (FIP’s) first Australian President.
The former Pharmacy Guild of Australia National Vice President was elected as Dominique Jordan’s successor ahead of the FIP World Congress of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Seville, Spain, today.
“I am both excited and humbled to be elected president of FIP and to be the first Australian president reinforces the global reach and importance of our federation,” he said.
“I look forward to continuing the strong tradition of service to our profession that has defined previous FIP presidents.”
Sinclair will take office as President-elect on 23 September. More details in Monday's issue of Pharmacy Daily.
