Good evening,

Good evening,

For dealmakers, the aviation industry is the gift that just keeps on giving in 2020.

Tonight, it's all about regional airline Rex – which is poised to secure a $150 million capital injection to finance its mooted expansion plans.

However, it's where the money is coming from that's piqued our interest. We reveal which Asian private equity giant is bankrolling the convertible note deal, which will form a big part of the $120 million company's capital structure.

Elsewhere, listed electricity and gas distributor AusNet Services is following shopping centre owner Scentre Group's lead and has got banks on board for an issue of hybrid notes. It's targeting proceeds worth more than $500 million and we've got the details.

Finally, private equity outfit Adamantem Capital is mulling options for its stake in a data analytics consultancy and non-bank lender Lendi is launching a non-deal roadshow this week.

Happy reading,
