TARC Motor Mount Kit
U 838 Video Camera

We created this special motor mount kit because of a request by a few TARC teams. The motor mount centers a 24mm diameter tube inside a 3-inch thin-wall tube. It features plywood centering rings for extra strength, and also comes with a standard engine hook for easy motor installation

29mm Rocket Display Stand
U 838 Video CameraThis was another requested item from a customer. They wanted a plywood version of the simple stand we came out with a c ouple of months ago. Plywood is stronger than cardstock, and therefore it can take a lot more abuse from people that want to touch your rockets in your display area. This simple stand allows you to stand your rockets upright for storage and to show off the great craftsmanship of your models. Fits rocket kits with a 29mm engine mount tube.

U-838 HD Video Camera
U 838 Video Camera

The U-838 HD video camera offers the capability to take incredible video footage from your model rockets. The camera is small, weighing only 19.9 g (0.67 ounces). It can easily be strapped onto rockets that use C size rocket motors.Video resolution is an incredible 1920 X 1080 pixels at 30 frames per second! With this camera, you can see how cool it would be to actually sit on your rocket as it takes off.

LumaDyne Tube Fastener Inserts
LumaDyne Screw Fasteners

These precision machined inserts allow you to use real metal screws to hold the sections of your rocket together. This allows you to easily assemble the rocket on the field, and take it apart when you are ready to drive home. Great for high power rockets where you want more strength than a removable plastic rivet.

Mad Cow Rocketry Aluminum Bulkplates
Aluminum Bulkplate

These bulkplates are used to make a professional-looking electronics bay. Essentially, they are used as the end-caps on the two sides of the e-bay section. Note that these aluminum bulkplate fit fiberglass couplers only. Use them to add a bit of professionalism to your dual-deployment rocket. Plus, they make assembly of your rocket go together quicker, and it just looks awesome. It is a bit over-kill for a rocket, but then you want the best rocket you can build, right? We have sizes for 38mm, 54mm, 2.6", 3.0" (75mm), 4" (94mm), and 5.5" rockets to fit the fiberglass couplers we carry.

Customer Comments

"About 8 years ago I started using Apogee Components for purchasing all of the needed material for a "Rocket Science for Educators" taught to high school teachers and other STEM educators. Eight years later I'm still using Apogee as my one-stop-shop for rocket materials. The excellent customer service, great selection, and product quality does indeed live up to the test of time." -- Todd Treichel

I need help with generating the biweekly newsletter articles, since it takes a lot of effort to put them together. And I'm willing to pay big bucks for your help.

So ask yourself, are you looking to earn some extra money?

I'm now actively seeking writers for articles to appear in this newsletter. And I want unique and cutting-edge articles, because that is what you want to read, right? I realize this, so to get articles from outside writers that have the same level of quality, I'm going to have to pay a lot of cash to make it worth it for them. So I've come up with a compensation package where I'll pay up to $350 for good how-to articles.

Are you a writer, and does that interest you? That is a lot of cash! Far more than you'll get by writing for other magazines. And with over 23,000 worldwide subscribers, if you write for the Peak-of-Flight Newsletter, you'll gain a lot of notoriety. Writing for the Peak-of-Flight Newsletter is a great way to show off your rocketry projects and your technical expertise, at the same time as helping out other rocketeers. Imagine how great you'll feel knowing that you made a difference to the hobby.
