Perspective-Taking at the Renwick What do we gain by taking multiple points of view in history class? In our own lives? |
|
Craft Connections: Art, History & Culture October 25, 2017 (5:00 pm - 7:30 pm) Perspective-taking... we know it's good to get out of one's own head, to walk a mile in someone else's shoes, or to see an issue through the eyes of another. It's necessary for grasping the complexity of historical events or navigating cultural differences in our increasingly-global society. What role might craft play in building this skill amongst your students? For the $10 registration fee, get special, after-hours access to the Renwick, a tasty dinner, and resources to take home. Register here for October 25. Click here for all workshops. |
