Russell Woolf did a tally and over 1,300 new children's and young adult books have been donated to the Brekky Book Bank so far. We're shy of our 3,000 book goal and we'd love your help getting there by August 31.
We've had guests drop by to pitch in, including Premier Mark McGowan who donated his favourite books - Tuart Dwellers and Sam, Grace and the Shipwreck.
We've added more drop-off locations to the list if you'd like to help. Otherwise Fremantle Press is offering a 10% discount and free postage to send books to the ABC with the code BREKKYBOOKBANK. The offer ends August 23. |
