An eight-figure verdict has been decimated after a Philadelphia judge determined that there was an issue with the jury's punitive damages award. Our first item today has details. Also, although a prolific personal injury firm under fire for its filing practices was able to avoid monetary sanctions, the firm still received a severe tongue lashing from a federal judge over the firm's conduct.
