Plaintiffs in Philly's Zantac mass tort are citing the fact that the judge overseeing the litigation is married to a Reed Smith partner as the basis for a recusal motion. According to Aleeza Furman's story, the lawyers say they believe the judge can act fairly, but are concerned about an appearance of impropriety. Also, Armstrong Teasdale is facing a discrimination lawsuit from its former DEI director.
