A Message From the Editor The makers of CPAP breathing machines is suing a third-party research company, alleging that it's faulty work led to billions worth of recalls and settlements. Part of the claim calls for the defendant, PSN Labs LLC, to indemnify the plaintiffs, Philips RS and Philips NA, for "the various recall-related costs... attorneys’ fees, costs, and expenses, necessitated by PSN’s false conclusions." Our first item from Aleeza Furman examines the new suit, which comes in the wake of settlements that a Pennsylvania federal judge approved for as much as $1.7 billion in total. And speaking of attorney's fees, our second item explains why a Pennsylvania judge's decision to award more than half a million dollars in fees in a hostile work environment case.
