My daughter insists that we should have pet fishes, but we're not quite ready for a fish tank, so this paper aquarium will do! She had a fun time making this and this would make a nice indoor craft/activity to do. Afterwards, you can hang this up on the wall and it'll be a paper aquarium instead.

I found this flexible cutting and chopping mat at Food City. I bought it for use as a dry erase board or marker board. Dry erase or color markers show up well and come off right away with a wet cloth or baby wipes.

I decided to decorate the fridge door and to incorporate every associate into the St. Patrick's Day theme. Making pots of gold was the easiest choice and turned out absolutely adorable.

At the end of every rainbow is a pot of gold. The leprechaun left its powerful green hat that saves him from traps. It's caught in a trap and the princess was able to slide herself down the long rainbow. She fell into a pot of gold under thick clouds at the end of the rainbow where the leprechaun's hat was left.

I recently took a class to learn this fun, new to me, method of paper piecing. The project quickly became addictive. I have done foundation style paper piecing in the past and love the ability to work with smaller pieces to create the block, but you are still saddled to your sewing machine.

The half square triangle (HST) is a very common component of patchwork quilts. These blocks consist of two right triangles. Because of the stretchy nature of fabric cut on the bias, it may be preferable to make your half squares in the following way, rather than cutting out triangles and sewing them together.

Create a shamrock from a 12-inch piece of ribbon that is at least 1/4 inch wide. I found that the wider the ribbon, the easier it was to create. Now you have no excuse for not wearing green on St. Patty's Day!!
