Plant from sibling as early as possible in large flower pot. When the temperature is nice set the plant outside. Bring it in before evening. A week after blossoms appear, sprinkle with a little fertilizer (do not sprinkle close to the stem) and give a lot of water.

We recently had a large tree in our yard trimmed. When the work was finished it was sad to see tree standing there with no leaves adorning it. The morning after the tree was trimmed, I walked outside and saw that a spider found the tree to be an ideal place for her to display her artistic skills. The beauty of her web was an outstanding distraction from the bareness of the tree.

We always pour the oils collected from our (George Foreman) grill into a tin can, add bird seed (dusted in a little wheat flour or ground oatmeal) and leave it cool down (or freeze) and then place in our suet feeders.

It's so nice to watch this little fella. He is the acrobat of my back yard. He goes to the feeder, selects a sunflower seed, then proceeds to the nearest tree.

Platycodon is another member of the Campanulaceae Family (bell flower). It is a very winter hardy perennial. It can withstand 3 degree temperature. It is native to East Asia.

One of my favorite perennials is the Phygelius, commonly known as the cape fuchsia. I include them in my garden because they attract hummingbirds, bees, and other pollinators. They are a dependable bearer of lovely, warm hued flowers from spring, thoughout the summer, and into fall.

This Week's QuestionsGrowing an Avocado TreeI have a avocado tree that I babied all winter long. It survived and it got to be 4 feet tall. I got this man to put it in the ground for me. I don't know any better so I cut off the dead leaves. I am watering it about every other day, but it just doesn't look good. What can I do to help it?Cub Cadet with Kawasaki FH721v Engine Won't StartI have a 2008 Cub Cadet with a Kawasaki FH 721v 25 hp engine and it will not start. I have replaced the coil packs, spark plugs, fuel filter, and fuel lines. I cleaned and rebuilt the carb, replaced the air filter, and fuel back fire solenoid. It will run briefly after starter fluid is added or gas is added directly to the carb. I know the fuel pump is working.Husqvarna RZ46i Stalled and Won't RunMy tractor was galloping last week This week it stalled out and now it won't run.
