Good morning and happy weekend!

Most of the day today will be quiet with plenty of sunshine. It'll stay humid, too. Expect a high in the low-90s with a heat index closer to 100°.

However, much like the last few days a couple of isolated showers and storms are possible in the late afternoon and evening.

A rare westward moving low pressure system will bring the chance for more scattered showers and storms Sunday. As a result, highs will be in the upper-80s.

The same low will traverse over South Texas through the middle of the week, bringing at least small rain chances every day through Wednesday.
