| Oct. 2, 2019 In the next few weeks, nearly 700 Minnesota soldiers are headed to training before going on to the Middle East. In 2020, additional National Guardsmen will join them. It is one of the largest deployments for the Minnesota National Guard since the 9/11 attacks in 2001. What does deployment do to families? And how do families navigate the reunion afterward?
