Potential cyberattack hamstrings a Louisiana university

Southeastern University is still reeling from an "incident" that knocked out most of its internet services, including its website, campus email, and the program students use to submit assignments. 

The university hasn't explicitly called it a cyberattack, but it has said Louisiana State Police are investigating. We talked to a cybersecurity expert who says it has all the hallmarks of a hack and walked through some of the issues with keeping a college campus secure. 

LSU has also dealt with internet connectivity problems on campus, but those seem less severe, and the university says there's no sign it was a cyberattack.
