Use Kitty Litter Bins as Pots

By brigitteisnow

Use Kitty Litter Bins as Pots - kitty litter bins and plastic bucket plantersMy family enjoyed having a large garden for many years. We grew potatoes, carrots, onions, green beans, sugar snap peas, zucchinis, eggplants, corn, jalapeños, green peppers, watermelon, and cucumbers in our yard. We had edible landscaping. At our new home we can not have a garden so we are trying container gardening.

Growing Green Onions from Leftover Scraps

By 15mhhm15

A dish of green onion roots, with green growing out of the cut end. Don't toss your green onion scraps away, you can easily grow more! Soak your scraps in water. Once you see your green onion growing a little, transfer into a mason jar allowing the green onions to grow straight up, make sure the roots are in downward position.

Cleaning Houseplants Easily
Clean house plant leaves using a sock. Slip your hand into the sock. You are able to clean the top and bottom of the leaves at the same time. I always use milk to clean the leaves. Makes them really shiny.
