These finalists represent the innovative and successful media relations campaigns and projects that delivered results for organizations and clients. Ragan and PR Daily will also announce winners, honoring the best media relations work from the past year. This virtual event will be hosted by Ginger Zee, an Emmy and Murrow Award-winning meteorologist, and chief meteorologist at ABC News. Zee also has a New York Times best-selling memoir, “Natural Disaster: I Cover Them, I am One,” and she finished in third place on the 22nd season of “Dancing with the Stars.” The Media Relations Awards Virtual Gala will take place on Thursday, Oct. 15, from 2 to 4 p.m. Eastern time. The program also features guest presenters Brandi Boatner, Social and Influencer Communications Lead, Global Markets at IBM, and Sarah Evans, founder and CEO of Sevans Strategy. This celebratory virtual event is open to the public.
