Good afternoon,

This week we've been congratulating new parents, eating burgers and searching for Preston's cleanest pubs...among other things.

We kicked the week off with a visit to the much anticipated Five Guys burger chain which opened its doors in Preston on Monday. Take a look inside here.

Shoppers in Penwortham have also been given some good news this week, with Aldi confirming it is looking for a suitable site in the area.

We've also been scouring the Scores on the Doors website to find the pubs, clubs and bars with the highest food hygiene standards in Preston - you know you are in safe hands with these businesses.

A new play area has been opened this week in Bamber Bridge after a £225,000 refurbishment. The playground now hosts brand new, state-of-the-art toddler and junior playground equipment along with a new ball court and dynamic equipment for teens.

Finally this week we met some of the city's newest residents and their proud parents.

Have a great day

Colin
