A video of 12-year-old Liam Morrison confronting his school committee last month has gone viral, receiving more than 13 million views. Morrison, a student at Nichols Middle School in Middleborough, Mass., confronted the committee after he was punished for wearing a t-shirt that declared there are only two genders. Two adults removed the boy from gym class and told him that he must remove his shirt before
returning to class, claiming it was making some students feel unsafe. "When I nicely told them that I didn't want to do that, they called my father," Morrison stated, adding that he received no pushback from his classmates or teachers due to the shirt. "Several kids told me that they supported my actions and that they wanted [a shirt] too," he explained. "I was told that the shirt was a disruption of learning. No one got up and stormed out of class, no one burst into tears. I’m sure I would have noticed if they had." Full Story.

During his Monday podcast, conservative commentator Ben Shapiro questioned the mainstream media's response to the suspected gunman in the Texas outlet mall shooting and contrasted that coverage with how the media covered the shooting at a Christian school in Nashville, Tenn., earlier this year. While outlets such as The Associated Press were able to identify the gunman's alleged "white supremacist" ideology within hours,
these same outlets have remained disinterested in why a trans-identified woman killed six people, including three children, at the Covenant School, a ministry of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Nashville. Read more.

Pornhub has disabled its website for Utah residents in protest of SB 287, a new state law that requires pornography distributors to verify users' ages. Utah-based users are directed to a landing page featuring an adult performer who explains the new law and complains that it is not an "effective" solution but will instead put users' privacy and somehow their children "at risk." The adult performer, Cherie DeVille,
claims that the "most effective" option is to identify children and adults by device only. In a statement, National Center on Sexual Exploitation CEO Dawn Hawkins stated, "Pornhub's protest of Utah's law reveals an ugly truth: Pornhub will lose revenue if children cannot access pornography on its site." While the French Revolution "led to a horrendous and bloody 'reign of terror' and a Napoleonic dictatorship," the American Revolution "led to the longest-sustained democracy in the history of the world—America," writes CP Executive Editor Dr. Richard Land. Why? According to Land, the defining difference is evidenced in their foundational statements. The American Revolution clung to the truth that "all men are created equal" and endowed by their Creator with these unalienable Rights; the French Revolution "asserted the principles of 'liberty, equality, and fraternity' based purely on the assertion of those rights" and without the "Creator" and natural law as their foundation. Dr. Sheri Dean Parmelee, an associate professor at Liberty University, reflects on the life and faith of Queen Elizabeth II and how King Charles III has seemingly deviated from this path. With her hand on a Bible, Queen Elizabeth pledged an oath to serve her people at her coronation. Meanwhile, King Charles asked people to pledge their allegiance to him and his heirs. "This is the first time a monarch has wanted his people to swear their allegiance to him. ... God save the king because the UK might just need it," Parmelee concludes. Read more.

When it comes to our money, 99% of the time we get a say in where our money goes. But there is that 1% (like health insurance) where we don’t always get a say.
|
As Christians, though, we aim to do our best to spend our money in a way that aligns with our beliefs.
|
That’s why we here at the Christian Post partner with Medi-Share – a reliable, trusted, and values-driven Christian health care ministry.
|
Medi-Share is not insurance, instead members voluntarily share in eligible medical bills that align with Christian values. Every member has a vote in what services are shareable, and there’s an option for every budget.
|
You can have peace of mind knowing your hard-earned dollars are being spent in a way that supports your faith.
