Nursing home visitations ease as vaccine rollout continues

When the COVID-19 pandemic began sweeping the nation in March 2020, CMS placed a ban on nursing home visitations, and for the past year, most facilities haven’t allowed indoor visits to residents. As COVID-19 cases decline in nursing homes across the U.S., CMS has eased the restrictions for visitations.
