I would like to invite you to our upcoming free web seminar on Wednesday September 27 at 2:00 ET, entitled Creating Project Based Learning Environments Through Makerspaces..

This event will feature an educator from the De Anza Academy of Technology and the Arts (DATA), a high achieving magnet middle school in the Ventura USD in California. Once a struggling school at risk of closure, DATA was transformed into a highly successful magnet school by emphasizing project based learning environments and makerspaces, with technology as a central component.

We’ll learn more about the design of DATA and some strategies for implementing project based learning and makerspace initiatives in any school or district.
