Rising interest: Pension fund investment in long income property on the up
In this week’s newsletter, Emily Perryman reports on a new Alpha Real Capital survey which suggests that a pension funds are set to significantly increase their level of investment in long income property over the next two years on the back of low bond yields and uncertainty in the current macroeconomic environment. In deal news, we report on the addition of three Dutch assets to Cording's Euro Industrial Real Estate Fund portfolio, plus Valesco's EUR1.2 billion deal to acquire the landmark Brussels Finance Tower. We also have news of deal in the 'buoyant' Qatar market with ADMARES set to provide 16 floating hotels for fans attending the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
