Good morning, here are some of today's top headlines. Abortion pill suit: Two women denied treatment and health care providers are suing the state over a law that restricts access to two medications used in abortions and to treat miscarriages, Emily Woodruff reports. The law imposes stringent requirements on the storage of misoprostol and mifepristone, which plaintiffs say could put dangerous hurdles in the way of treating medical emergencies. The suit seeks to permanently block the law, though even if the suit succeeds Louisiana's near-total ban on abortions would remain in place. Swift fan controversy: Fans who attended an unofficial convention during Taylor Swift's three days of sold-out shows at the Caesars Superdome are crying foul. Some of the roughly 1,300 fans who attended the Holiday House events have taken to social media to blast what they say were over-priced and underwhelming events. Rich Collins has the details. Troy Carter: U.S. Rep. Troy Carter is heavily favored to win re-election to a seat centered in New Orleans. A Democrat, Carter has support not just from his own party but from some conservative Republicans as well. Tyler Bridges spent some time with Carter on the campaign trail ahead of an election that will see him compete with four little-known opponents. Thanks for reading.
