Public cloud drives revenue, profit increases for Data#3; Vocus sees revenue and profit fall in FY20; Apple launches Apple Music radio

Australian listed IT services provider Data#3 has reported a bumper year, increasing revenues by 14.9% to $1.6259 billion for the full year 2020 on the back of strong growth in public cloud revenues, which were up by 60.4% to $581 million.

Meanwhile, the top 20 Asia-Pacific technology companies may face a rough time this year due to the volatile global situation and the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the data and analytics firm GlobalData says.
Australia's fourth largest telco the Vocus Group has reported total revenue of $1.78 billion for the 2019-20 financial year, a drop of 6% on the 2018-19 period. Profit was also down but the company insists it is on track for a turnaround.
