Good morning Voornaam

We've made it through Monday and have learned to embrace the rain that will probably stay with us through out the summer. Take pleasure in the little things, grab a hot coffee, a sweet breakfast pastry and let us talk you through some of the top news stories today.

First up, a charity dedicated to helping victims of crime has demanded answers from the Scottish government over new plans for the early release of long-term prisoners.

Read all about this right here.

Next up our Arts and Culture correspondent Brian Ferguson is looking at the daredevil photographer who captured Scotland from the skies a century ago.

Alfred Buckham survived nine crashed during a military career as a reconnaissance photographer then won global acclaim thanks to his work with landscapes and seascapes.

Read all about this incredible man, and the new exhibition of his work in Edinburgh, right here.

Lastly, have you ever wondered what new MPs do on their first day? Well, ponder no more. Our Westminster Correspondent Alex Brown will talk you through every intriguing moment.

Check it out right here.

Whatever your plans this fine Tuesday, have a wonderful time.
