We spoke to Des about his biggest challenges at Oracle so far, his predictions for the martech space in 2020, and how brands can improve their CX offerings. He says consumers are now in charge of their data and that is putting more pressure on brands to provide relevant and contextual experiences to them. Organizations are also increasingly under pressure to better manage their first party customer data and that’s what’s going to drive this hyper growth in the enterprise CDP market. Also ICYMI: Acrelec, the global leader in customer experience technology for “quick service” restaurants and retailers, has announced plans for a $223 million investment by Glory Global Solutions (International) Ltd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of GLORY Ltd. JumpStory, an AI-based digital content platform, rolled out its AI-powered image search and success prediction tools after securing $1 million investment. Cision Ltd., a leading global provider of software and services to PR and marketing communications professionals, announced that it has been acquired by an affiliate of Platinum Equity in an all cash transaction valued at approximately $2.7 billion. Criterion.B, an award-winning marketing and branding agency, is excited to announce the launch of Swifty, a full-service marketing platform for multifamily properties. Xenon arc, a leading data-driven marketing and sales organization, announced the launch of its enhanced B2B ecommerce offering powered by Magento Commerce. |
