Extended Quarantine for Returned Items
We are now quarantining returned library materials for 4 days instead of 3 days, based on a new study just released about the length of time the COVID-19 virus can live on the pages of a book. When you return library items, we put them in our "quarantine area" (also known as the Community Room). They sit in here for four days before we check them off your account. If you see items still on your account that you just returned, please give us a few days, then check your account again.

While we love having items returned on time, your health and the health of our staff is more important! To take the burden off you, we are not charging overdue fines for late items. If you are not able to get out and have concerns about getting materials returned, please give us a call at 502-352-2665, and we'll work something out. We're here to help!
