Forecast for Wednesday, December 26 | |||||||||||||
Rain & fog will make for a gross morning. Strong storms possible later today. ~KaitiUpdate from Kaiti BlakeGood Morning! Hope you had a nice Christmas holiday.The weather has taken a turn for the gross this morning... We've got cloudy skies, passing showers, high humidity, and fog to deal with. If you'll be out on the roads, give yourself some extra time, as visibility will likely be limited.By midday, skies will still be cloudy and light, passing showers will still be possible. Most fog should mix out by then, but it will still be humid.As we head into the afternoon hours, scattered thunderstorms will develop, especially northeast of San Antonio. Any storms that do develop will have the potential to be strong to severe.However, our best chance of thunderstorms will come late this evening and overnight. A line of storms will move through the Hill Country from 7-9 PM, through San Antonio and the I-35 corridor from 9 PM-12 AM, and the Coastal Bend from 12-3 AM. As this line of storms passes through, strong winds, small hail, and heavy rain will be possible. A brief tornado is also not out of the question. Please make sure you have a way to receive severe weather alerts overnight.We'll keep you updated on-air, through social media, and via the KSAT apps.
