Personal and family health challenges forced Deanne to follow a more natural life path. Her Qigong training introduced her to the Chinese and Japanese philosophy and aesthetics, which exemplify a holistic approach to the existence and emphasize the connection of all things in the universe. Her own experience helped her guide others on their journeys. Deanne describes herself as a "transformer", helping others navigate times of changes physically and energetically, through her art and mentoring. Deanne is passionate about self-growth and the quest for spiritual development via art and mentoring. Over the years, Deanne exhibited her art in galleries, as well as taught both art and Qigong to the local community. She currently lives and creates art in her studio in Santa Fe, NM, where she enjoys the high desert landscapes and the art culture.
