Re: Gold - You Haven't Seen Anything Yet!Michael Oliver and son Bret share views on equities, U.S. Treasuries, Bitcoin, gold & commodities.
For several years, Michael Oliver was little known in the investment community because he did work quietly behind the scenes for major financial institutions, most recent of which was Wells Fargo where he employed his proprietary Momentum and Structural Analysis (MSA) tools to help make profits for them. Fortunately, when I was introduced to his work, I immediately found it to be helpful to me in keeping me in or out of certain markets at the right times. Because I found his work to be so helpful to me, I invited him on to my Turning Hard Times into Good Times radio show at which time he became one of my most popular guests. In my interview with him this week, Michael confirmed to me that I was the first person to introduce him to a larger audience, including some significant investors like Eric Sprott who calls Michael is favorite technical analyst. Michael had informed me over the past couple of years that his son Bret was learning to use effectively use Michael’s tools. So, I recently asked Michael if I should invite Bret to join me on my show and he immediately said “yes.” And so, Bret made his debut on my show this past week on Turning Hard Times into Good Times. Michael also joined me but proudly stepped to the side to give most of the time to Bret who was very impressive in articulating ideas and his views on the market. Toward the end, Michael chimed in a bit to add his big picture views on gold, making it clear once again that you have not seen anything yet despite the yellow metal’s rise to over $3,300. It is clear that while Bret has learned a lot from his father and other financially related positions he has held, he is very much his own thinker. From my perspective, “Oliver, the Senior” is still a “young” man and should have many more years to help investors. But “Oliver, the Younger” stepping into his father’s Momentum and Structural Analysis (MSA) shoes will provide investors with much needed help for many more years. Both Bret and Michael are very bullish on gold and silver, as well as the miners. They both are also generally bullish on commodities. But they are equally bearish on the dollar, U.S. Treasuries, and equities in general. I hope you will listen to Bret and Michael to learn why.
