REDS COACH KISS PROUD OF STYLE AND FIGHT Queensland Reds head coach Les Kiss has praised the grit and adaptable style of play from his players after an emphatic start to their Super Rugby Pacific campaign with a 20-point win over Moana Pasifika.
Kiss was delighted with the 56-36 win for a boisterous home crowd and pay-offs from the pre-season tour of the United Kingdom.
"The cohesion gained on tour and the way the coaches built the game plans so there are different layers to our play were two really big plusses that came out," Kiss said.
The Reds are now planning for Saturday night's visit to Perth to play the unbeaten Western Force. |
