Binance continues to inform our community about the best earning opportunities in the crypto ecosystem. On that note, we are excited to keep you up to date, and present the launch of Stellar Staking rounds / 2023 .

Staking Round 1 can be accessed starting February. The rewards for participation will be two-fold: upgraded inflation mechanism and new stage-based algorithm. The start of the new staking campaign is guaranteed by a fund totalling 2.31 billion XLM, secured by the Stellar Foundation.

After the initial registration on Stellar's platform, users have the option to claim rewards for early support and extended ROI - up to 23.4% APY based on current account balances. The Stellar Ledger records the account balance, estimates a reward percentage, and distributes Lumens automatically. The bonus cannot be used again to claim more Lumens, as a certain sequence mention is applied in the Ledger, limiting abuse and ensuring each user's stake.

Initially, only a few thousand eligible participants will be able to take part in the first staking round. The available spots have been allocated on a first come, first serve basis, with a dynamically determined minimum XLM balance required for eligibility.
