Around 42 per cent of all start-ups in 2021 were founded by women and grew for the second year in a row, according to the KfW Founders Monitor in the run-up to International Women’s Day on March 8, 2023. Hamburg News profiles some of the many leading female managers in the city. In other news, contestants in the Urban Data Challenge stand to win EUR 40,000 for the best data-driven mobility idea. Read our overview of this year’s congresses in Hamburg and our latest Future Hamburg Talk with Veronika Reichboth, Head of Startup-Unit Hamburg.
