Xray T4’20 ARS Active Rear Suspension set Posted: 10 Mar 2020 08:39 AM PDT Xray have announced the release of their new ARS Active Rear Suspension set for the T4 2020 mid-motor touring car. The set was developed especially for the latest variant of the T4 and its design makes for a controlled toe-in change of the rear wheels as the chassis rolls during cornering, allowing to adjust the behaviour of the car by fine-tuning over or understeering. The result is an improved handling in a variety of conditions and thus quicker lap times if set up correctly. The set includes zero degree aluminium C-hubs, moulded hard composite steering carriers as well as all needed mounting hardware. Ruddog 1/8th scale nitro offroad starter box Posted: 10 Mar 2020 08:30 AM PDT Ruddog have introduced their new 1/8th nitro off-road starter box that is of a universal design to cover all 1/8th off-road needs. Housed in a sturdy, black-coated aluminium case the heavy-duty starter box is powered by two 775-size motors with the durable belt-driven starter wheel allowing for an easy and convenient start of both run-in and also brand-new nitro engines. The starter box was developed for the use with two 2S LiPo battery packs and it comes pre-wired with T-type connectors. Highly adjustable stopper cones allows to adapt the starter box to pretty much every 1/8 scale off-road chassis. Laser-etched Ruddog logos and a handle with glow igniter holder round out the package. Tekno RC captured 17mm wheel nuts Posted: 10 Mar 2020 06:02 AM PDT Coming from Tekno RC are their new captured 17mm wheel nuts for 1/8th scale off-road buggies and trucks. Of a lightweight design the wheel nuts also protect the stub axles from getting packed with dirt and the serration grabs onto the wheel very tightly, ensuring the wheels will not get loose mid-race. the red anodised nuts feature the proud Tekno RC logo and they come in sets of four. Andy Murray wins at BRCA Formula 1 Nats Rd4 Posted: 10 Mar 2020 01:34 AM PDT The fourth round of the BRCA Formula 1 Indoor Nationals was held at the CARS club in Chesterfield this past weekend. The club laid down a very technical circuit and in qualifying it was Schumacher’s Andy Murray, running a prototype car, who would lead the way from Carisma Racing’s Ben Cosgrove. A1 was a pretty unspectacular race up front with the top 3 holding their position, and also in A2 it was Andy with the win while Ben Cosgrove and Michael Lee (Xray) swapped places after a little error of Ben who was chasing down Andy. Brown & Yoshii win at Northwest Indoor Series Rd4 Posted: 09 Mar 2020 11:43 PM PDT Round 4 of the Northwest Indoor Series was held at the Tacoma RC Raceway in Tacoma, Washington last weekend. The event attracted over 150 entries and in the premier class of 2WD Mod Buggy it was TLR racer, Mikey Brown with the overall TQ. Mikey then went on to win A1 and A2 for an early overall victory while the fight for the remaining podium spots was on between Harley Yoshii, Roger Seim, Dalton Pierce and Jackson Andres. In the end it was Yokomo pilot Harley who would snatch the runner-up spot with 2-3-3 finishes as Roger Seim (Yokomo), despite winning A3, had to settle for 3rd overall. Dalton Pierce ended tie on points with Harley and Roger but only came in 4th overall as Jackson Andres completed the top 5 results. Over in 4WD Mod Buggy it was Harley Yoshii with the overall TQ and also the win, however it didn’t come easy as Harley won A1 only to finish in 8th in A2. With a win in A3 he put things straight again to take the win from Jackson Andres (Yokomo) in 2nd and Mikey Brown in 3rd. 40+ 2WD Mod Buggy had TQ, Roger Seim taking wins in the opening two A-mains for the early overall victory from James Johnson in 2nd and Bob Murphy in 3rd. David McLean had to settle for 4th overall in the tie-breaker with Bob. 13.5T Stadium Truck saw Tyler Miller (Yokomo) walking away with the TQ and win from Devon Murphy (Yokomo) in 2nd. Andrew Beauchamp (Xray) came in 3rd to round out the podium result.
