1up Racing XL anti-wear & O-ring grease

Available now from 1up Racing is their gold anti-wear and blue O-ring grease in XL jars. The anti-wear grease is a race-proven blend of two synthetic base lubricants help that help the lube to adhere to metal surfaces offering unparalleled protection and impact absorption. It can be used on driveshafts and also makes a nice cushion on cross pins of belt pulley adapters where it can make for less wobbling and a smoother working drivetrain.

The blue O-ring grease has a superior ability to reduce sliding friction, making shocks smoother than ever offering a far more predictable feeling car or truck. Also perfect for use on gear diff o-rings and seals to provide long lasting smooth operation. Both are available now in new 8g XL jars.

Picco Monza Evo 3.5cc on-road engine

Following a first teaser image Picco from Italy have finally unveiled their all-new Monza Evo 3.5cc nitro on-road engine. Developed over the last year, the new version features a new 7-port liner with updated timing and exhaust boost ports to increase overall power. Characterised by a long stroke design to deliver better power throughout the entire RPM range, the engine also sports an all-new die-cast aluminium double bottom-end adjustment carburettor for finer tuning and a better mixture flow. The DLC-coated crankshaft prevents oxidation and any wear of the crank pin, it features improved transfers and it is fitted into a rear ceramic ball bearing. The rear back plate, now also die-casted, has been re-designed also to offer better mixture flow. The engine comes including a 8.5mm venturi insert and a P7TC glow-plug.

Radtec T4 series black aluminium bearing hubs

Radtec have introduced their Xray T4 series aluminium bearing hubs in black colour. Made from high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium and coming black anodised the alloy parts are designed to replace the standard composite parts and they can improve the efficiency of the drivetrain as well as lower the operation temperature of the gear differential as the metal parts allow for heat dissipation through the alloy bulkheads. The hubs come in 2-piece sets.

Tamiya T3-01 alloy bearing holder & rear axle weights

Tamiya have introduced new optional parts for their fun and popular T3-01 trike series. First up is a set of aluminium rear bearing holders. The parts replace the standard plastic A2 bearing holders and offer increased durability and higher precision. In addition the blue surface anodising adds visual impact while their design allows the addition of the rear axle weight set. The bearing holders come as pair including mounting hardware. Also new is the aforementioned rear wheel weight set that includes two black colour 6g and two silver colour 10g weights that can be attached to the optional alloy bearing holder, improving rear traction and overall manoeuvrability.

Carisma Racing CRF-1 chassis only kit

Carisma Racing have announced the release of a chassis-only Pro version of their successful CRF-1 formula pan car. A winner right out of the box the car took the TQ and win at the opening round of the 2020 BRCA Formula nationals and it includes a full set of team-suggested option parts as standard, allowing the racer to then choose the body type, the correct wheels and tyres for the tracks they race on, and their choice of electrics. The no compromise kit includes the CRF-1 Team Spec carbon fibre race chassis kit, a full CR optional spring set, a race-spec ball diff as well as a front anti-roll bar set. Not included are the body, wings, wheels, tyres and electronics.

Vigor A800MMX rear body mount & front bumper plate

Coming from Vigor are new option parts for the popular Awesomatix A800MMX touring car in the form of a multifunctional rear body mount and a carbon fibre front bumper plate. Starting with the rear body mount, the set consists of a machined carbon fibre plate that allows a traditional vertical body post position, owners can add horizontal posts to make for anti-tuck capabilities, ensuring the body stays in its position during a crash from behind and in addition the mount also allows to run horizontal posts exclusively in order to lower the overall centre of gravity. The set contains all needed mounting hardware and two types of body posts.

Also new is a carbon fibre front bumper plate for the A800MMX. The CNC-machined carbon fibre part acts as a replacement for the standard composite plate and while offering a cool machined look it also adds rigidity to the front bumper assembly.

TLR team manager role for Thomas Tran

TLR have announced the signing of US personality, Thomas Tran for the role of their team manager. Thomas is well known in the industry for many years now, having handled the race report duties over at JConcepts until recently while also having stints with Red RC and other news outlets before. His new role is starting immediately and Thomas has the following to say about the deal:

Hello everyone. For those who have followed my RC journey from the beginning, I want to say thank you for your support and belief. I’ve always tried to surround myself with awesome people to learn and grow from and I can’t thank you enough. It’s been a long and interesting climb from freelance, 2wdMod.com, JConcepts and now… the next chapter. I would like to thank Greg Sopa, Todd Hodge, Scott Cramer, Dakotah Phend and everyone at Horizon for this unbelievable opportunity to step in as the TLR team manager. I’ve dreamt about this moment my whole life and can’t explain in words just how excited I am to be a part of TLR. We made it fam!! See you at the track – hopefully soon!

JConcepts B74 aluminium rear hub carrier set

Coming from JConcepts and made for Team Associated’s popular B74 buggy is an aluminium rear hub carrier set. The uprights are precision machined to accept the stock Team Associated hub inserts and also the aluminium camber link mount. One of the highest impact items on the rear of the B74 are the hub carriers and the aluminium material helps maintain correct geometry while showing off some anodised luster. The set contains the hub carriers and two .1 and two .25mm axle shims to tighten the lash between drive axle and bearing once assembled.
