Core RC 8000 & 9000 cSt diff oils Posted: 26 Mar 2021 11:28 AM PDT Schumacher have announced that two new Core RC diff oils have been added to the range. The new 8000 and 9000 cSt bottles fill the gaps between our 7000 and 10,000 which have become popular for 1/10th touring cars recently. Core RC oils are available in a massive range of 34 viscosities from the lightest 100 cSt shock oil to the heaviest 300,000 cSt diff oil. Extremely temperature resistant in both warm and cold conditions they come in fully sealed 60ml bottles for transport without leakage, and super easy to use lid for easy precise pouring. Xray X1’21 hard 2.5mm graphite chassis Posted: 26 Mar 2021 04:52 AM PDT For the X1’21, Xray have produced this 2.5mm chassis made from a harder graphite material for very-high traction conditions. Also suitable for when using tires that offer a lot of steering which makes the car more difficult to drive, this harder chassis makes the car more stable and easier to drive, and eliminates oversteer. The chassis was redesigned to accommodate the tweak-free pod system and side braces. The X1’21 chassis continues to offer a wheelbase adjustment using one of three mounting positions for the front suspension. Depending on the installation choice, wheelbase can be selected from the standard length or +/- 4mm alternatives. Performa P1 Radical V5 .21 offroad engine Posted: 26 Mar 2021 02:14 AM PDT After over a year of testing, the new Performa V5 Radical .21 offroad engine is here. Sporting a new lighter cooling head for lower centre of gravity and thus better car handling, internally the new combustion chamber increases bottom end torque and mid range power. Other changes is an updated sleeve timing and tune, new CNC piston process for unmatched longevity and DLC coated CRF design with optimised timing. A new high torque backplate helps improved response and mileage and the whole package is completed with a hand selected rear ceramic bearing. Lex Tyler clean sweep at 1st Annual Corona Classic Posted: 26 Mar 2021 02:12 AM PDT Last weekend saw the 1st Annual Corona Classic hosted by NorCal Hobbies in San Jose, California. With perfect weather conditions and great turnout, including a large 1up Racing team, the stage was set for a fun weekend of racing. Saturday saw 3 rounds of qualifying with triple A-mains on Sunday. After qualifying was complete, 1up Racing’s own Lex Tyler took the overall TQ spot in all 3 classes he competed in. On Sunday, Lex picked up right where he left off in qualifying by taking the wins in all 3 classes to complete the clean sweep.
